Beacon Bluetooth® Low Energy by Confidex is designed for industrial environments. Thanks to the integrated temperature sensor, it is a valid tool for industrial production control, supply chain and asset control.
The robust casing makes this Beacon suitable for industrial environments and completely protected from water and dust infiltration.
The activation and configuration of the Confidex Viking Classic have to be done via the Android Confidex Runestone application. An Android NFC Smartphone is needed.

Acetone and sodium hydroxide should be avoided.
Eddystone
Confidex Viking supports the following Eddystone protocols.
- Eddystone-UID
- Eddystone-URL
- Eddystone-TLM (transmits telemetry information, such as temperature)
- Eddystone-EID
For more information on Eddystone, see the Google Beacon platform and the Eddystone Wikipedia page
iBeacon
Confidex Viking also supports the iBeacon protocol (UUID, Major and Minor).
For more information on iBeacon, refer to Apple's documentation.
Installation
It is recommended to use mechanical fixing in any application that includes the risk of high mechanical stress or low temperature when fixing the Beacon.
M5 type screws, or plastic or metal cable ties with a maximum width of 4 mm can be used.
