This NFC Shield can read or write NFC Tags, do applications (such NFC payments), communicate with smarthphones and tablets, emulate a NFC Tag.

It works with 13.56 MHz Rfid or NFC systems. It can read every NFC Tag.

The PN532 made by NXP chip-set is also very flexible: you can communicate with it using 3.3V TTL UART at any baud rate, I2C or SPI.

This chip is also strongly supported by libnfc: you can simply plug in an FTDI cable and use the FTDI serial port device to communicate with any Windows, MAC, Linux computer.
