Identiv Multi-ISO NFC Reader with Keyboard Emulation
The NFC Identiv Multi-ISO reader allows reading UID and memory of both ISO 14443 and 15693 chips, including MIFARE® DESFire®, NTAG®, Ultralight C and ICODE®.
Identiv’s innovative Multi-ISO High Frequency Reader offers a cost-efficient OEM and desktop solution combining all major high-frequency (HF) standards in one device, including ISO 14443 and 15693, while utilizing an existing PC/SC standard for USB.
By default, the Identiv Multi-ISO Reader works as a keyboard emulator. Thanks to its configuration software, it is possible to choose whether to read the UID or the Tag memory, as well as other functions. For the tags that support encryption (MIFARE Plus, DESFire EV1, Ultralight C), it is possible to insert the encryption key in order to copy the content in clear text. However, it is also possible to update the firmware to use only the PC/SC protocol.
The Multi-ISO High Frequency Reader supports HF transponders from various suppliers, such as Atmel, EM, ST, TI, and NXP, including MIFARE, DESFire EV1, Ultralight C, and more. The reader also connects with near field communication (NFC) devices in tag emulation mode and contactless microcontroller cards, such as JCOP.
